Mahant Ramnaumi Das Ji Maharaj
As of May 2025, the Acharya Mahamandaleshwar (chief spiritual head) of the Shri Panchayati Bada Udasin Akhara is Mahant Ramnaumi Das Ji Maharaj. He was ceremonially anointed to this esteemed position during a formal coronation (पट्टाभिषेक) held in Prayagraj, attended by saints from all 13 major akharas.This appointment was made following the traditional process of consensus among the Akhara’s governing council (पंचायत), which involves proposals, rituals, and blessings from senior saints. Mahant Ramnaumi Das Ji, known for his lifelong dedication to monastic service and spiritual discipline.
